The Christmas decorations are going up. Some are incredibly tacky, some subtle and beautiful. But what fascinates me the most is how many people PAY to have their Christmas decorations put up.
Now I get if you are a senior citizen we don't want you on the roof stringing lights, but it seems to be a growing Main Line tradition to have someone else do your holiday decorating.
I don't get it.
Why?
Part of the joy of the season is decorating...with your friends, family, neighbors....but not on the Main Line. On the Main Line it's all about Keeping up with the Kardashians apparently...
The lights this year crack me up.
Some houses look like they vomited lights and I wish they would develop ordinances against those blow up Santas, snow men, and those extra super annoying giant fake snow globes. Parts of Wayne need the taste police to visit them this year.
If you see streets with lights not to be missed - post the location in a comment. Sugartown Road for example - once you get past the apartment complexes from hell there's a lot to look at. Some good, some bad.
