UPI-Missing dogs found shot to death in Pa.
I am sick, just sick I tell you. I heard this on the news last night. Who would murder two young family dogs execution style? What is wrong with people? Emma, 1 1/2, a liver and white German Shorthaired Pointer, and Luna, 2, a black pointer mix were reported missing right away from their home ( a farm) and found dead later. Dumped, Dead, Murdered. Sounds like a sadistic bastard of a neighbor or revenge of someone who tried to trespass on this property and the dogs stopped them.
I have had friends who have had German Short Hair Pointers. They are loves of dogs, absolute loves. Very loyal. Hunters, yet great family dogs. And what will happen when these twisted bastards of dog owners are caught? Probably not much. Why? Because like everything else he's done as governor, Ed Rendell has done a half assed job with dog laws too.
Congratulations Pennsylvania, we are among the most cruel to poor defenseless animals. I am sooo proud.
Ok, I think it is someone who knew the families and the dogs. This sounds too much like premeditated murder. Seriously. I doubt even in the country that Billy Bob and Junior were just ridin' around in daddy's pick-up. I think someone knew the habits of these dogs or their owners. I wish I could just give the owners a big hug right now. Poor people. How incredibly scary and devestating.

Chesco SPCA Seeks Answers in Dog Killings
by KYW's Kim Glovas
The Chester County SPCA is appealing to the public for help in finding the person or people who shot and killed two dogs in Chadds Ford -- and is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to arrest and conviction.
Emma, 1 1/2, a liver and white German Shorthaired Pointer, and Luna, 2, a black pointer mix, were reported missing Sunday morning. Later that afternoon, a resident called the SPCA after she found the bodies of two dogs near Brintons Bridge Road. Rich Britton of the Chester County SPCA says one of their animal protective services officers went to the scene:
"Officer Brooks went and investigated the scene at about 3pm and found two dogs, positioned tail to tail next to the tracks. Upon further investigation, it was noted that it appeared to have gun shot wounds to both of the dogs, in the head."
The SPCA says another witness saw a newer model maroon Ford F-150 with a cap, at the scene with its blinkers on at the time in question. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call the SPCA at 610-692-6113.

It takes a very disturbed human being to treat anything in this manner. I hope that whoever did this is caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
The most we can do at this point is call state and local representatives to try to make sure that the "full extent of the law" agrees with this vicious and perverse crime.
The news of this absolutely broke my heart. It's such a sin...
