Now, normally I don't comment about what other bloggers write - it's their right, their thought process. But damn it's getting dull out there with PhillyFoibles disappearing faster then Delco Tom Paine on steroids for who knows why.
I have been quietly following all the drama over on the SAC site. Most of the drama I agree with, but some of it I just don't get. So they are having this whole conversation over there within the past few days about John Nagle and Bill Spingler. The long and short of it is that Bill Spingler doesn't know how to behave any better in the real world then he does playing Cranky Old Commissioner Coot on TV.
So I guess Spingler has been basically flashing his Super Commissioner Decoder Badge around apartment buildings who would rather be visited by cockroaches then Bill Spingler. (Note I do not know who that makes Joe Friday)
First of all, there are NOT two sets of rules, one for Billy Bob Cranky Pants and one for everyone else. But Billy Bob's behavior is not John Nagle's fault and I wish those fine bloggers could learn to separate the issues and the idiots sometimes.
But hey, that's their right to mix and mash, but honestly it's looking like a bit of a vendetta over who knows what. But again, their choice. At least they have people thinking and talking.
But then this conversation comes up about should old and cranky be spankey-ed by the ethics board? It goes like this from a blogger called ham and cheese (would that be with mustard or mayo I wonder?):
Why do you need 4 votes to have it investigated?....Chips can be the identified individual who signs charges and list the twp solicitor and officer as witnesses.
But I am thinking Chips, another blogger, didn't like this very much and he replies:
What? For what purpose would I do that?
It goes on from there...now look, I will admit, I do not follow every morsel on that blog, but Chips, you should be flattered - they are obviously just looking for you to be the leader on this.
But filing ethics charges is probably not so easy and results could be politically contrived, right? Anyway, just a couple comments...and I think Bill Spingler acts like an ass. It's a shame he's a Democrat, as that is such an amusant cliché.
But all in all, the Democrats of Radnor need to get their shit together. They are split a million different ways...and if that is not fixed, they will never accomplish anything and the status quo will return to reign over Radnor. Is that the secret plan I wonder?

Chip Layfield had tons of bravado when he walked into an 'always open to everybody' Democratic Committee. The chairman was a little curious about why he was there...maybe snoopin' around to see what they're up to? See, interested citizens can't do the same when Republicans meet because their meetings are MEMBERS ONLY. (Something sinister going on in their super-secret clubhouse?) Chip reports back to his blog buddies that at the Dems meeting, Spingler blabbed about going door to door campaigning for John Nagle, allegedly ignoring NO SOLICITORS signs and flashing his get out of jail commish badge. The bloggers get all worked up and want to file an ethics complaint against Spingler but they need a witness to the admission of 'the crime'. When things have to get all-official-like, it seems Chip Layfield isn't so brave anymore and wants to stay out of it. Not sure why he's had the change of heart.
Dan Sherry and Chip Layfield both have "woodies" for Bill Spingler. They believe that he unjustly defended David Bashore with the rest of the team and even when the ship was sinking he spoke up for him.
These folks on SAC are just out and out mean and enjoy defamation of many characters in Radnor instead of providing alternatives to fix it. The board has been very lax and negligent and I hope that the next election will reflect that....until then, what exactly DO THEY STAND FOR? They just like to hear themselves talk and have NO SOLUTIONS! That is why I never read their posts....they are all a bunch of hot air (perhaps they should be cavorting with Balloon Boy's dad...the amount of air they project could sail a cruise ship!)

Ok, I get it you are not a fan of these bloggers, but are they wrong? I mean let's get real, Bill Spingler sure give off Eau De Status Quo-Business As Usual.
And from what I see over at that website, it seems to me there are LOTs of bloggers, so as a fellow blogger, I think you need to be specific when referring to a multi blogger blog, ok? Otherwise I am going to end up with everyone over there commenting about how mean YOU are, LOL...
And let's also chat up something else - maybe what they say is not everyone's cup of tea, but they aren't defaming anyone that I have read - it's just their opinion. And I have to be honest, sometimes they are damn funny over there too.
One point I do agree on is the solutions thing. Solutions would be helpful...so let's turn this around, what would YOU do to make things better?
First off all, start fresh with all new Commissioners who are PAID ( $ 2300.00 isn't payment for the number of hours they put in) I would ask for true transparency. They hold "Executive Sessions" way too often and that is what got us into the whole Bashore mess in the first place. No one knew that he had a contract and there weren't any checks and balances within the powers that be (i.e. the checks drawn on Radnor's account had the Treasurer's name already preprinted on them so the required 2 signatures wasn't applied, really...)
There needs to be a body to review all of the transactions and they need to be posted on the INTERNET for all to see so that there aren't any questions as to how our money is being spent!
How's that for a start???
(I won't get into the whole SAC thing...don't care about them nor do they pay my bills so I will choose to ignore the lot of them....I've seen enough to last me a life time there!)

I appreciate how you feel. I just think that sometimes people have to express themselves the way they see fit, and face it, Radnor is kind of constipated, so I can't say I blame them.
I think as time progresses the "sniping" as you call it will calm down...or I hope it will.

Look at the names on the SAC blog: it's the same 7 damn people. At least two, maybe 3, of them are parent and child and another one is a girlfriend. They spend most of their time congratulating each other on their hateful comments about individuals they don't like. It reminds me of the old "Family Feud" tv show, when teams were desperate and their families came up with totally ridiculous and stupid answers (Like, "Name something you read." "Candy Corn!!") The other folks would slap them on the back, clap their hands like ninnies and say "GOOD ANSWER, GOOD ANSWER!!" Same deal, except it's about letters to the editor or endless, pointless public comment.

For someone who is posting anonymously I don't think you should be mocking what people decide to call themselves on blogs. And how do you know who all these bloggers are if they have made up names? Do you blog over on SAC? Who is the parent and child? Dan Sherry and Chips? I don't think they are related, are they?
Why don't you tell them how you feel THERE and not take of space here complaining about them?
I am thinking in truth you are one of those people they mock?
My blog is not designed to be a blog where people complain about other blogs.
